This workshop is perfect for beginners or anyone that wants a refresher! We'll cover posture, body isolations (including the hip shimmy!), traveling steps with hipwork and arm patterns. We’ll learn a fun combo inspired by vintage American belly dancing of the 1960s and 1970s.
Please wear comfortable workout clothing. Belly dance is often done in bare feet but you may also wear ballet shoes or foot undies. Bring water and if you want to hear your shimmies, wear a hip scarf with coins. Please, no glass beads on hip scarves.
